Anime Roundup — Week 8 of Fall 2016

Well my copies of Final Fantasy 15 and Steins;Gate 0 will be arriving soon, so let’s clear out the anime first.

By the way, if I don’t have anything interesting to say about a show (or forget what happened in it as soon as I finished watching), I’ll just leave its description blank and not put an image for it. Also, March Comes Like a Lion didn’t air this week, so it’s not included.

9. Occultic;Nine

Oh my god, do these characters ever shut the fuck up?

8. Bloodivores

I forgot to put this show on last week’s rankings because quite frankly, I don’t know why anyone would want to retain knowledge of Bloodivores. So in case people are curious, yes it still sucks.

7. Drifters

Y’know, I don’t recall Hellsing Ultimate’s humor being this retarded.

6. Bungou Stray Dogs 2

5. Izetta: The Last Witch

Y’know anime guys, you don’t have to introduce another magical being on the enemy side to counter the one on the hero side. How about just making someone whose philosophies clash with the magical witch ala the relationship between Batman and the Joker? God knows we could use some actual chemistry between hero and villain in anime.

4. Days

3. Haikyuu!! 3

(massive gap)

2. Yuri!! on Ice

Isn’t this just last week’s episode again except with different plot movement and different characters doing the ice-skating? Which is still a mixed bag by the way due to the numerous cost-cutting techniques as well as when the music builds to a crescendo, you can’t see the actual skating because the camera is put so close to the guy’s face.

(even more massive gap)

1. Sound! Euphonium 2

We finally got some good drama in this show again. Let’s hope it stays that way throughout the rest of the series.
