As Alex reads what’s on his computer, Lain walks in.
Lain: Hey Alex, what are you doing?
Lain: Wait, they’re actually making one?
Alex: It’s not set in stone yet, but it seems pretty likely given the team attached to it.
Lain glances at the computer screen to read the article herself.
Lain: When an article promotes the main star over the actual team in the headlines, that’s usually a bad sign, right?
Alex: The very existence of this film is a bad sign, but yes that does not help.
¹ Keep in mind that Gaijin World takes place in an animated version of our own world, and thus live-action doesn’t exist in it despite the above pic I’m using.
Note: In case you were wondering, yes the “cartoons” in this world are hand-drawn/done by computers/etc. Shirobako runs on that logic and I’m allowed to apply said logic to Gaijin World too, except with no fear of copyright. Well, maybe a little fear.
